Penelope Stout 
Penelope was born on May 20th, 1700 in Hopewell,Hunterdon County,NJ. She died at the age of 76 on July 11th, 1776 in Hopewell,Hunterdon County,NJ.General Notes
Also known as Mrs. Penelope Stout Jewell so Thomas Jewell is assumed
to be her first husband. May have had a daughter Sarah Jewell from
this marriage. Jean Warren indicates she was born at Middleton,
Monmouth, NJ and that Hopewell was in Hunterdon County, NJ. At the
time of her marriage to William Merrill she was a widdow so Thomas
Jewell is assumed to have died before 1729.
