Martha Merrill 
Martha was born on September 1st, 1828. Martha's father was Abel Merrill and her mother was Eliza Cooley. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Merrill and Elizabeth UNKNOWN. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named William, Green Berry, Nelson Cooley, Nancy, Lavisia Vicey, Mary Elizabeth, Eliza Jane, Susan, Temperance and Keziah. She had a half-brother named Charles Pinkney. She died at the age of 89 on September 7th, 1917. She was buried in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery,Jasper County,MS.General Notes
