Lavisia Vicey Merrill 
Lavisia Vicey was born on December 27th, 1824. Lavisia Vicey's father was Abel Merrill and her mother was Eliza Cooley. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Merrill and Elizabeth UNKNOWN. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named William, Green Berry, Nelson Cooley, Nancy, Mary Elizabeth, Martha, Eliza Jane, Susan, Temperance and Keziah. She had a half-brother named Charles Pinkney. She died at the age of 84 on September 8th, 1909. She was buried in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery,Jasper County,MS.General Notes
