John Jesse Keahey 
John Jesse was born on July 10th, 1870. John Jesse's father was Elijah John ,Jr. Keahey and his mother was Margaret Ophelia Hamilton. His paternal grandparents are Elijah John Keahey and Catherine Bethune. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Daniel Reed, James Russell, Henry Alexander, Hardy L., Frank E., Belzora and Sarah J.. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 59 on March 20th, 1930.-
