Daniel Reed Keahey 
Daniel Reed was born on July 11th, 1867 in Erath Co. Texas. Daniel Reed's father was Elijah John ,Jr. Keahey and his mother was Margaret Ophelia Hamilton. His paternal grandparents are Elijah John Keahey and Catherine Bethune. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John Jesse, James Russell, Henry Alexander, Hardy L., Frank E., Belzora and Sarah J.. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 22 on August 28th, 1889. He was buried in Rock Church Cemeteery,Tolar,Hood Co.,Texas.-
