Alvia Barnett was born on October 1st, 1873 in Scott Co.,Mississippi. Alvia Barnett's father was Alvia Wiggin Keahey and his mother was Martha Sarah Smith. His paternal grandparents were John Robert Jackson Keahey and Martha Slay. He had two sisters named Appielonia Beatrice and Martha Lazell. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 68 on May 6th, 1942 in Pampa,Texas.-
