George Washington was born on November 1st, 1857 in Wayne,KY. George Washington's father was William Wesley Gilreath and his mother was Sarah Jane Gregory. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Jones Gilreath and Mary "Polly" Moore. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John Samuel, William Elijah, James Granville, Thomas Sylvester, Mary E., Susan E., Martha A., Hannah G. and Julia. He is the third oldest of the ten children.-
