Jim M. (Alvin) was born on December 6th, 1896 in Pine Bluff,Jefferson,Arkansas.1 Jim M. (Alvin)'s father was Franklin Columbus Daniels and his mother was Mary Lou Finch. His paternal grandparents are William T. Daniel and Mary O.W. Bell. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas Uxie, Henry O., Joe T., Rhoda Della, Mary W. (Nettie) and Fanny Louise.
