I believe this was not F. Columbus' first marriage, because his first child was born in 1881.
David Garrett does not believe that the surname was Daniels, but instead was Daniel.
White Oak Twp, Arkansas was originally part of Jefferson County. In the mid 1870's, White Oak became part of Dorsey County. In 1883, the county was renamed Cleveland County. Therefore, White Oak Twp is in Jefferson County in the 1870 census, Dorsey County in the 1880 census, and Cleveland County thereafter.
On the 1910 census, Franklin states that he has been married for 22 yrs, and this is his first marriage. This means that he didn't marry Mary Lou until approximately 1888. Therefore, either Della's birth year is wrong, or whoever gave this marriage as Franklin's first marriage, was unaware of a previous marriage.
