Her paternal grandparents are William T. Daniel and Mary O.W. Bell. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Uxie, Henry O., Jim M. (Alvin), Joe T., Rhoda Della and Mary W. (Nettie). She is the second youngest of the seven children.-
