Hiram George was born in 1823 in Claiborne,Louisana. Hiram George's father was John Calhoun Allen and his mother was Mary Holcombe. His paternal grandfather was Hiram Allen and his paternal grandmother is Mary Ann Susanna Unknown. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John Burchfield, James A., Harmon Holcombe, Thomas Price, George Washington, Mary Ann Elizabeth, Cassandra Ann and Martha. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 44 on April 7th, 1867 in Alexandria,Louisana.-
