Frances Catherine was born in 1862. Frances Catherine's father was Benjamin J. Allen and her mother was Mary Ann Dial. Her paternal grandparents were Martin C. Allen and Elizabeth Vice. She had three brothers and a sister, named James B., Joseph B., J. Miles and Nancy Jane. She is the youngest of the five children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Martin Robert, William Brice, T. Horton, Benjamin Patterson and Annie Caroline.General Notes
