Ludie Vera was born on August 9th, 1901. Ludie Vera's father was George Franklin Alexander and her mother was Nancy Elizebeth Daniel. Her paternal grandfather is Jerry Alexander and her paternal grandmother was Amanda Temperance Seal; her maternal grandparents were William Simmons Daniel and Permintia Wesley Stewart. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Charles Henry, James Briley, Walter Marvin, Benjamin Franklin, Dennis Brealon, Mimme Velma and Biddie Eva. She is the second youngest of the eight children.-
