James Briley Alexander 
James Briley was born on March 5th, 1887. James Briley's father was George Franklin Alexander and his mother was Nancy Elizebeth Daniel. His paternal grandfather is Jerry Alexander and his paternal grandmother was Amanda Temperance Seal; his maternal grandparents were William Simmons Daniel and Permintia Wesley Stewart. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles Henry, Walter Marvin, Benjamin Franklin, Dennis Brealon, Mimme Velma, Ludie Vera and Biddie Eva. He is the second oldest of the eight children.-
