Mary Elizabeth Bledsoe 
Mary Elizabeth was born in 1764 in Salisbury District,Surry,North Carolina. Mary Elizabeth's father was John Bledsoe and her mother was Susannah Dawson. She was an only child. She died at the age of 21 in 1785.
‌Mary Elizabeth and Hamilton were married in a religious ceremony in 1776 in North Carolina. They had six sons and two daughters, named John Clark, Anthony S., Enoch, Evan A., Nathaniel, Hamilton, Abigail and Deliah.
