Hampton; her maternal grandparents were John Bledsoe and Susannah Dawson. She had six brothers and a sister, named John Clark, Anthony S., Enoch, Evan A., Nathaniel, Hamilton and Abigail. She had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Benjamin Hamilton, John Clark, Anthony, Enoch, Evan A., Nathaniel, Deliah and Abigail.
