Robert de Courtenay

Robert was born in 1307 in Okehampton, Devonshire, England. Robert's father was Hugh II de Courtenay and his mother was Agnes de St. John. His paternal grandparents were Hugh de Courtenay and Eleanor le Despencer; his maternal grandfather was John de St. John and his maternal grandmother is Alice FitzPiers. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas, Hugh III, Eleanor and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 27 in 1334 in Moreton, Devonshire, England.
