John de Courtenay

John was born after 1292. John's father was Hugh II de Courtenay and his mother was Agnes de St. John. His paternal grandparents were Hugh de Courtenay and Eleanor le Despencer; his maternal grandfather was John de St. John and his maternal grandmother is Alice FitzPiers. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Hugh III, Robert, Eleanor and Elizabeth. He is the oldest of the six children.
