Harold Mckinley was born on January 30th, 1896 in Pekin, Tazewell County, Illinois. Harold Mckinley's father was Lewis Madden Shaffer and his mother was Harriet Melissa Scott. His paternal grandparents were Christopher Shaffer and Elizabeth C. Cox; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Scott and Martha George. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas Christopher, Jessica Marie and Lisa. He was the youngest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named George, Albert Clarence, Amy, Elsie Maye and Cora Adelia. He died at the age of 62 on October 19th, 1958 in Dallas, Texas.General Notes
