Ann Peirce was born on September 28th, 1712 in Thornbury Township., Chester County, PA. Ann Peirce's father was Joseph Brinton and her mother was Mary Peirce. Her paternal grandparents were William Brinton and Jane Thatcher; her maternal grandparents were George II Peirce and Ann Gainer. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, John, James, Moses, Caleb, William, George, Jane, Mary, Jane, Hannah and Phoebe. She was the oldest of the thirteen children.
