Amos Cox

Amos was born on September 5th, 1799 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Amos' father was Benjamin Cox and his mother was Philenah Dye. His paternal grandparents were Moses Cox and Hannah Eavenson; his maternal grandparents were Amos Dye and Mary Chamberlain. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Moses, John, David, Benjamin, Nathaniel William, Marcus Aurlious, Mary, Hannah, Nancy and Margaret. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 25 on April 12th, 1825.
