George V Windsor of Great was born on June 3rd, 1865 in Marlborough House, London, England.  George V Windsor of Great's father was Edward VII Saxe-Coburg Wettin of Great Britain and his mother was Alexandra Schleswig Oldenburg of Denmark.  His paternal grandparents were Albert Augustus of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Victoria Alexandria Hanover of Great Britain; his maternal grandparents were Christian IX Schleswig-Holstein of Denmark and Louise Wilhelmina of Hesse-Cassel. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Albert Victor Christian, Victoria Alexandra Olga Mary, John Alexander, Louise Victoria Alexandra and Maud Charlotte Mary Victoria.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 70 on January 20th, 1936 in Sandringham House, Norfolk, England.  He was buried on January 28th, 1936 in St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, England.

‌George V Windsor of Great and Mary of were married in a religious ceremony on July 6th, 1893 in Chapel Royal, St. James Palace, England.  They had five sons and a daughter, named Edward VIII Windsor of Great, George VI (Albert) Windsor of Great, Henry William Frederick, George Edward Alexander, John Charles Francis and Victoria Alexandra Alice Mary.
