Maud Charlotte Mary Victoria's father was Edward VII Saxe-Coburg Wettin of Great Britain and her mother was Alexandra Schleswig Oldenburg of Denmark. Her paternal grandparents were Albert Augustus of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Victoria Alexandria Hanover of Great Britain; her maternal grandparents were Christian IX Schleswig-Holstein of Denmark and Louise Wilhelmina of Hesse-Cassel. She had four brothers and a sister, named Albert Victor Christian, George V Windsor of Great, Victoria Alexandra Olga Mary, John Alexander and Louise Victoria Alexandra. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 69 in 1938.-
