Rosanna Ankney 
Rosanna was born on November 4th, 1784 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Rosanna's father was Christian Ankney and her mother was Elizabeth Shaffer. Her paternal grandparents were Dewalt Johan Ankney and Mary Jane Dorner; her maternal grandparents were George Schaffer and Elisabetha Catherine Miller. She had five brothers and three sisters, named George, David, Henry, Christian Jr., Jacob, Elizabeth, Anna Marie and Margaret. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 70 on May 9th, 1855.General Notes
