Isaac Ankeny 
Isaac was born in 1785 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Isaac's father was Peter Ankney and his mother was Rosina Bonnet. His paternal grandparents were Dewalt Johan Ankney and Mary Jane Dorner; his maternal grandfather was Jean Bonnet. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Theobald, Peter, John, Henry, Jacob, Isaac, Joseph, Catherine, Elizabeth, Rosina and Susanna. He is the fourth oldest of the twelve children.-
