Gerberge was born in 0913 in Nordhausen, Prussia.  Gerberge's father was Heinrich I King Of The Germans and her mother was Mathilde Countess Of Ringelheim.  Her paternal grandparents were Otto Duke of Saxony and Hathui Duchess of Saxony; her maternal grandparents were Theodoric Count of Ringelheim and Ludmilla Ragnhildis Countess of Ringelheim. She had three brothers and a sister, named Bruno I, Otto, Henry and Hedwige. She had a half-brother named Thankmar.  She died in Rheims, Marme, France.  She was buried in Reims, Marne, France.
