Louis II was born in France.  Louis II's father was Charles II King of France and his mother was Ermntrude Countess Of Orleans.  His paternal grandparents were Louis I "The Pious" Emperor of the Holy Roman and Judith Princess Of Bavaria; his maternal grandparents are Eudes Count Of Orleans and Ingeltrude Countess Of Orleans. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Carloman, Lothaire, Charles, Judith, Rotrude, Ermentrude Abbess Of, Hildegarde, Gisaele and Rothaut. He had a half-sister named Rothilde.  He died in Compiaegne, Nuestria.
