Nancy H. was born on October 9th, 1855 in Graysville, Monroe Co., Ohio. Nancy H.'s father was Samuel Gatten and her mother was Mary Woodford. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Gatten and Eleanor Meeks. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Dennis, Jefferson, Joseph Thomas, Maria, Sarah Jane, Rebecca Ann and Keziah. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 30 on December 31st, 1885 in Graysville, Monroe Co., Ohio.-
