George Dewey Gatten 
George Dewey was born on May 12th, 1899 in Pennsylvania. George Dewey's father was Thomas Jefferson Gatten and his mother was Emma Viola Kaughfman. His paternal grandfather was Dennis Gatten and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Piatt. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William D., Bert T., Brady J., Chummy, Cleora and Leona. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 72 on November 19th, 1971 in Columbus, Ohio.-
