Bert T. Gatten 
Bert T. was born in 1892 in Wood Co., West Virginia. Bert T.'s father was Thomas Jefferson Gatten and his mother was Emma Viola Kaughfman. His paternal grandfather was Dennis Gatten and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Piatt. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William D., Brady J., George Dewey, Chummy, Cleora and Leona. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 83 in 1975.-
