William Edwards 
William was born on June 22nd, 1793 in Orange Co., NC. William's father was David Edwards and his mother was Elizabeth Andrews. His paternal grandparents were David Edwards, Sr and Elizabeth Morris; his maternal grandparents were William Anders and Hannah Holiday. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Henry, Berry, David, Hiram, Morris, Sallie, Mahala, Thursey and Elizabeth Betsy. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Solomon Osborn and Phoebe. He died at the age of 88 in 1881 in Alleghany Co., NC.-
