John DALTON 
John was born in 1749 in Of, Campbell, North Carolina. John's father was Samuel DALTON and his mother was Ann Dandridge "Nancy" REDD. His paternal grandfather was William DALTON and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth (DALTON); his maternal grandfather is George REDD and his maternal grandmother was Anne DANDRIDGE. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Samuel, David, Robert, William, Letitia (Letty), Rachael, Mary, Jane, Ann "Nancey", Rachel, Sarah Matilda and Virginia "Jenny". He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. He died in Of Campbell, North Carolina.General Notes
