Roger de Chesney 
Roger was born about 1071 in Street, Sussex, England. Roger's father was Sire de Quesnay Ralph and his mother was Maud de Wateville. His maternal grandfather was William de Wateville. He had four brothers and a sister, named Ralph, William, Philip, Alexander and Sybil. He was the third oldest of the six children.
They had five sons and three daughters, named William, Roger, Ralph, Robert, Hugh, Isabel, Beatrice and Hawise.
