William de Chesney 
William was born about 1070. William's father was Sire de Quesnay Ralph and his mother was Maud de Wateville. His maternal grandfather was William de Wateville. He had four brothers and a sister, named Ralph, Roger, Philip, Alexander and Sybil. He was the second oldest of the six children.
