Ralph de Chesney 
Ralph was born about 1069. Ralph's father was Sire de Quesnay Ralph and his mother was Maud de Wateville. His maternal grandfather was William de Wateville. He had four brothers and a sister, named William, Roger, Philip, Alexander and Sybil. He was the oldest of the six children.
