Walter Stuart 
Walter was born about 1290 in Garlies, and Dalswinton, Scotland. Walter's father was Sir John Stuart and his mother was Margaret of that Ilk Bonkyl. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Stuart and Jean Macrory; his maternal grandfather was Alexander Bonkyl. He had four brothers and a sister, named Alexander, Alan, Sir John, Sir James and Isobel. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died in 1340.-
