Henry was born about 1114 in Dunfermline, Scotland.  Henry's father was David I 'the Saint' and his mother was Matilda Maud De Huntington.  His paternal grandparents were Malcolm III Caennmor and Margaret "the Saint" of England; his maternal grandparents were II Waltheof and Judith De Lens. He had a brother and two sisters, named Prince of Scotland, Princess of Scotland and Hodierna of.  He was the second oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Waltheof De, Simon II De, Maud De, Adelicia De and Matilda De.  He died on June 12th, 1152 in Kelso, Roxburghshire, Scotland.
