Alan Stuart 
Alan was born about 1280 in Darnley, Scotland. Alan's father was Sir John Stuart and his mother was Margaret of that Ilk Bonkyl. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Stuart and Jean Macrory; his maternal grandfather was Alexander Bonkyl. He had four brothers and a sister, named Alexander, Sir John, Walter, Sir James and Isobel. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died on July 19th, 1333 in Battle of Halidon Hill, Berwick, Scotland.-
