Joseph Morton

Joseph was born about 1748. Joseph's father was Elijah Morton and his mother was Elizabeth Hawkins. His paternal grandparents were William Morton and Ann Mothershead. He had four brothers and two sisters, named George, John, William R., Frankie Terrill, Sallie and Betsy. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
