William Morton 
William was born in 1676 in St. Thomas Parish, Orange Co., Virginia. William's father was John Morton and his mother was Deborah. His paternal grandfather was John Morton. He had a sister named Jane. He was the older of the two children. He had two half-brothers named John Jr. and Josiah. He died at the age of 72 on July 28th, 1748.
They had four sons and four daughters, named Elijah, Joseph H., George, Jeremiah, Jane, Elizabeth, Mary and Ann.
