George Morton

George was born in 1746. George's father was Elijah Morton and his mother was Elizabeth Hawkins. His paternal grandparents were William Morton and Ann Mothershead. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, John, William R., Frankie Terrill, Sallie and Betsy. He was the oldest of the seven children.
