Bessie Elvira Goodale 
Bessie Elvira was born on August 20th, 1896 in Fertile, Polk, Minnesota. Bessie Elvira's father was Clark Baker Goodale and her mother was Anna Christine Witty. Her paternal grandparents were George Washington Goodale and Phoebe Elvira Nichols; her maternal grandparents were Henrich (Henry) Witty and Maria (Mary) Hardt. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Arthur Lloyd, Earl Henry, Clarence Marvin, Eva Mable, Lucy Ermin, Ella Pauline and Mae Edith. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 83 on November 3rd, 1979 in Yakima, Washington.1 General Notes
