John Nichols 
John was born on October 8th, 1808 in Burlington, Chittendon, Vermont. John's father was Solomon Nichols and his mother was Ruth Goodale. His maternal grandparents were Jonathon Goodale and Mary. He had three brothers named Matthew, Mark and Luke. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 55 on December 21st, 1863 in Aurora, Kane, Illinois.General Notes
