George Washington Goodale 
George Washington was born on June 18th, 1830 in Washington Co., New York. George Washington's father was David Goodale and his mother was Elizabeth Brackett Welch. His paternal grandparents were Josiah Goodale and Persis Babcock; his maternal grandparents were John Welch and Hannah Davis. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Josiah, Isaac Lockwood, John Wells, Lockwood Welch, Mariah Ellen and Elizabeth Mary. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 72 on May 30th, 1903 in Parsons, Labete, Kansas.General Notes
