Thomas De Braose

Thomas was born about 1175. Thomas' father was William III De Braose and his mother was Maud Matilda De Saint Valery. His paternal grandparents were William II De Braose and Bertha de Gloucester; his maternal grandparents were Bernald IV De Saint Valery and Matilda. He had twelve brothers and seven sisters, named Robert, Roger, Giles, William IV, Walter, Reginald, Hugh, Henry, John, Bernard, Fulk, Philip, Flandrina, Matilda, Joan Alice, Margaret, Leucia, Isabel and Eleanor. He was the seventh oldest of the twenty children.
