Margaret De Braose

Margaret was born in 1177 in Abergavenny, Wales. Margaret's father was William III De Braose and her mother was Maud Matilda De Saint Valery. Her paternal grandparents were William II De Braose and Bertha de Gloucester; her maternal grandparents were Bernald IV De Saint Valery and Matilda. She had thirteen brothers and six sisters, named Robert, Roger, Giles, Thomas, William IV, Walter, Reginald, Hugh, Henry, John, Bernard, Fulk, Philip, Flandrina, Matilda, Joan Alice, Leucia, Isabel and Eleanor. She was the nineth oldest of the twenty children. She died at the age of 33 on November 19th, 1210.
