Prof. Harrod John Anderson 
Prof. Harrod John was born about 1795 in Pleasant Level, Hanover County, Virginia. Prof. Harrod John's father was John Anderson and his mother was Mary Trevilian. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Anderson and Frances Jones Harrod; his maternal grandmother was Sophia Terry. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Bates, Edmund Monroe, John Montgomery, Horace Franklin, Sophia Trevilian, Eliza, Mary Trevilian, Frances Virginia and Lucy Ann. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died about 1861 in Haywood County, Tennessee.-
