Horace Franklin Anderson

Horace Franklin was born about 1835 in Hanover County, Virginia. Horace Franklin's father was Prof. Harrod John Anderson and his mother was Matilda W. Hope. His paternal grandparents were John Anderson and Mary Trevilian; his maternal grandparents were Richard Hope and Frances Terrell. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Dr. Harrod Clopton, Thomas, Edmond, John, Monroe, Virginia Sophia, Mary Frances, Virginia, Harradine, Lucy Ann and Comelia. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
