Edna Pearl was born on October 5th, 1909 in Golden Gate,Wayne Co,Illinois. Edna Pearl's father was Thomas Jefferson Walter (Walters) and her mother was Maude May Nesler. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Walter and Drusilla Duvall; her maternal grandparents were Robert Fulton Nesler and Sarah Canzidia Simpson. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Robert Lacey, Jesse Alonzo, George Allen, Dollie Maybell, Daisy Caroleen, Lillian Juanita, Nora Evelyn, Bertha Maxine, Anna Lorene and Mary Katheryn. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.-
