Susanna was born on November 1st, 1743 in Middleboro,Plymouth,MA. Susanna's father was John Thompson and her mother was Lydia Wood. Her maternal grandparents were Elnathan Wood and Mary Billington. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Shubeal, Isaac, John, Ezra, Lydia, Uzza, Lydia, Sarah, Uzza, Fear and Priscilla. She was the second oldest of the twelve children.
